IMMEDIATE RELEASE - ROSE RACING TO SING NATIONAL ANTHEM
Brisbane based artist ROSE CARLEO will be in full voice this Saturday 24 May at the Brisbane Winter Racing Carnival, to be held at City Pacific Doomben, for the Brisbane Turf Club.
The feature event will be the Carlton Draught Doomben 10,000, where Rose will perform the National Anthem prior to the feature race at 3.45pm, to be broadcast on Sky Channel. Also on the bill will be songbirds The McClymonts performing later in the day.
This is the third Saturday Rose has performed the National Anthem at City Pacific Doomben during the Brisbane Winter Racing Carnival – their premier racing event. Justracing.com.au’s Phil Purser commented “Singer Rose Carleo sure has a great pair of lungs. She belted out the National Anthem for the big Doomben crowd prior to the running of the Doomben Cup.”
Rose cannot believe how busy and exciting the last six months have been, with the release of her current single SOMETIMES YOU JUST KNOW (written by Alan Caswell & Drew McAlister), the Golden Guitar nominated vocal collaboration with Drew McAlister. Her guitar sponsorship from TAKAMINE, and being named 2008 TIARA Awards (Tamworth Independent Artists Recognition Awards) Vocal Collaboration of the Year.
Her previous single EYES DON’T LIE became her first #1 hit on the Sounds Like Café chart, and other singles have had success on CMC and the Top 100 Country Hits charts. The support of her distributor One Stop Country has been fantastic, with her debut album EVERYTHING I NEED being showcased in their Next Generation Country campaign.
